ACE - Alternative Choice for Education

 The PACE Center is a school of choice for Pearland ISD students. PACE is equipped with a team of educators who pride themselves on meeting the needs of at risk students in a smaller, structured learning environment that shows care and compassion to all students while encouraging them to pursue their post-secondary options.

Academic excellence is achieved through small class sizes, academic electives, specialized test preparation courses, tutoring, effective use of technology, and partnerships with local community colleges. Students are expected to master state and district curriculum goals to achieve the minimum, recommended, or foundation program with endorsement graduation plan.  

PACE is a place to prepare, persist, and prevail. Students are given the opportunity to excel academically in a learning environment that caters to their academic deficits while teaching them effective social skills so that their transition from high school is smooth. Students interested in attending the PACE Center must start the process by filling out an ACE Application which can be downloaded from the link below. 

The student and parent/guardian should communicate student's interest in PACE to his/her campus counselor. At this time, the parent/guardian and student should submit a completed application to the home campus counselor. The counselor will complete his/her required portion of the application and forward all necessary elements to PACE. Once all necessary information is received, PACE staff will contact the parent/guardian/student regarding orientation dates and times.
